Since 1998, Dan has brought focused experience in business valuation, M&A advisory, and business transition planning across Atlantic Canada. At Conexus M&A, he leads the financial side of every engagement — from determining what a business is truly worth to structuring deals that protect the seller’s interests through closing.  While every M&A transaction has its share of lingo (EBITDA, multiples, working capital, etc), Dan excels in helping clients understand the implications of these terms for the success of their transaction. 

A Chartered Business Valuator since 1998 and a CPA with a Corporate Finance specialization, Dan has advised small and medium-sized business owners across a wide range of industries on some of the most consequential financial decisions they’ll ever make. His work spans formal business valuations, M&A advisory, and a forensic expert in related matters — including expert witness testimony in the courts of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, and the Federal Tax Court, as well as private arbitrations.

Beyond client work, Dan is a recognized voice in the Atlantic Canadian valuation community. He has co-authored course material for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, co-authored advanced valuation curriculum with York University, and speaks regularly on valuation and M&A topics to accounting, banking, and business audiences across the region.
